Data Ops Processor

The Data Operations team handled many regular and scanned PDFs. Free online converters produced poor Excel files, leaving substantial cleanup work for the team.

I directed an offline Windows tool that converts supported documents into structured Excel. Unfamiliar layouts can stop processing; uncertain OCR values are presented beside source-image crops for human review.

Around five team members use it for real operational work. The team reported that the review workflow made checking uncertain OCR easier. Operators continue preparing the workbook before entering data into the database.

Time savings have not been measured consistently. OCR is not guaranteed to be perfectly accurate.

Toastmasters club management

Club officers coordinated attendance, meeting roles, speeches, and agendas manually through WhatsApp. Late role changes and incomplete lineups made weekly coordination difficult.

As VP Education, I built a WhatsApp bot and companion web app for one club, then iterated from weekly use and informal feedback from members and officers.

The app recorded 15 of 15 meetings from 7 July to 13 October 2026. Complete agendas posted before 6 of 8 meetings after adding the Saturday reminder, compared with 0 of 2 beforehand.

The agenda comparison is a small observation, not a controlled experiment. Time savings and member satisfaction are unmeasured.

Thrive

Family and friends wanted a beginner fitness program they could follow at home without a gym or coach. The product began with their needs and my own daily use.

I authored a progressive bodyweight program and directed an Android app with guided workouts, variation-specific exercise demos, user-confirmed progression, and a separate sleep tracker.

A working Android app in private use with me and 1–3 friends and family testers. The product has shipped multiple releases and iterations.

Retention, workout completion, and fitness outcomes are unmeasured. The program has not been clinically validated.
